Eduardo’s Beginnings

In 1967, Eduardo Morettoni and his wife Marcella opened a small, inviting restaurant just minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge — beloved for its lively, family-style atmosphere and exceptional homemade pasta. What began as dishes enjoyed exclusively by restaurant guests, soon became accessible to pasta lovers throughout the Bay Area with the creation of Eduardo’s own pasta factory.

From the very beginning, Eduardo’s Pasta has been handmade with exceptional care. Our traditional slow-drying methods preserve the pasta’s authentic taste and perfect texture. We use only the finest natural ingredients: 100% durum semolina shipped directly from the mill, fresh farm eggs, spinach, and beets. The result is a pasta full of vibrant flavor that brings the best of Italy right here to the Bay Area — and after all these years, nothing has changed.

Eduardo’s Today

In 2025, Nando and Anne Zucchi began a new chapter at Eduardo’s, creating the pasta you love and staying true to the legacy that’s defined the brand since the beginning. Joined by their daughters Andrea and Mia, the Zucchis are proud to take ownership of Eduardo’s as a true family business: rooted in tradition, refined by craft, and dedicated to sharing the excellence of our kitchen with yours.

Though West Coast natives, the Zucchis spent the last several years in Madison, Wisconsin. When they discovered the opportunity to carry on Eduardo’s legacy, it felt like fate — especially after realizing that friends and family in the Bay Area were already devoted fans who raved about the pasta’s outstanding taste and quality. 

Inspired by the chance to embrace adventure and celebrate their love of pasta, the Zucchis took a leap of faith and moved to San Francisco to begin this exciting new journey. They understand the power of tradition and the joy of bringing people together through good food. Now, they’re thrilled to share that joy — and the exceptional pasta that has made Eduardo’s a beloved favorite for decades — with loyal followers and new pasta lovers alike.
